The regional office located in Hopkins, MN develops and supports local unit franchisees and helps them generate and retain customers through our system of professional cleaning practices, communication, and ongoing coaching / management skills.
POSITION SCOPE: The Inside Sales position serves an important role in our sales process to develop sales leads and prospects. In this position, you will perform telesales and other marketing related tasks to identify qualified prospects, inform them about Jan-Pro's Services and set sales appointments for our Outside Sales Consultants.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Prospecting and qualifying leads and setting sales appointments
- Make 100 - 150 calls per day from database of leads provided
- Maintain current and accurate daily records of prospect contact for solicitation and re-solicitation
- Maintain updated materials and lead lists to be used in marketing to leads and prospects
- Update database with results of contacts made and schedule follow up calls accordingly.
- Maximize opportunities to procure accounts in identified areas
- Work with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Outside Sales Consultants to collaborate on targeted leads to meet appointment objectives
- Other related tasks and activities as assigned
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:
- High school diploma, Some college preferred
- 1+ years previous experience in sales, telemarketing or administration in sales department
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Clear and pleasant telephone manner
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, proficient in data entry
- Proficient in the use of the Internet
- Ability to take detailed and accurate notes and messages
- Ability to document detailed and accurate prospect and client information in electronic database
Jan-Pro offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including hourly pay of $18 - 21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications as well as commission based on performance. Benefits include paid holidays and vacation, group medical and dental insurance, and 401k / Pension Retirement program.
